2021 was one of the worst years for milfoil (Myriophyllum heterophyllum) in Lake Arrowhead. Neighbors said they could not recall so much milfoil in the 25 years they have been at the lake.
A large patch of emergent milfoil appeared near our cove so I took some video of it:
